I wanted the next BiteTalk Members tool to solve the question that shows up before almost every weeknight dinner: What can I make with what I already have?

My Kitchen is our answer. It keeps a simple inventory of your fridge, freezer, pantry, and spices, then makes that inventory useful everywhere the real cooking decisions happen.

Members get it early. My Kitchen officially launches August 1, 2026, but every active BiteTalk subscriber can use it now. It is included with membership at no extra charge.

From one photo to a kitchen you can cook from

Open My Kitchen from your member account and take a picture of a fridge shelf, freezer drawer, pantry, or spice cabinet. You can use up to four photos in one scan when a single view does not tell the whole story.

BiteTalk looks only for food it can reasonably identify in the image. Before anything is saved, you get a review screen where you can correct a name, change the quantity or location, uncheck an uncertain item, or add something the photo missed.

  1. Snap: photograph the kitchen area you want to inventory.
  2. Review: confirm or edit every suggested item.
  3. Organize: keep it in your fridge, freezer, pantry, or spices list.
  4. Cook: generate ideas and complete recipes from what is actually available.

Not just a list—an actual dinner system

Four useful zones

Keep cold, frozen, shelf-stable, and spice inventory separate without turning dinner into a spreadsheet.

Use-soon priority

Mark food that needs attention and let recipe ideas favor it before it becomes waste.

20 ranked ideas

See which ideas use the most on-hand ingredients, which need minor shopping, and exactly what is missing.

Complete recipes

Carry your kitchen context into the recipe creator for full amounts, steps, timing, and a focused shopping list.

You control what gets saved

AI recognition is a starting point, not a silent decision-maker. A scan never adds food directly to your inventory. You choose what to confirm, and the original uploaded photo is used for that recognition request rather than stored in your My Kitchen inventory.

My Kitchen also avoids pretending it can know what a camera cannot: it does not guess expiration dates, freshness, hidden package contents, or exact weights from appearance alone. When something is uncertain, the review step says so.

Built to reduce shopping, not limit creativity

You can tell BiteTalk how many missing ingredients you are willing to buy, save dietary preferences and dislikes, or still start with a cuisine, protein, craving, or time limit. Your inventory becomes one smart input—not a box that traps you into the same meals.

When an idea is a strong match, you will see what it uses from your kitchen, what needs using soon, and what you would still need to pick up. Send the winner to the full recipe creator and that context travels with it.

Your kitchen is ready.

Active subscribers can start building their inventory today. If you are not a member yet, My Kitchen is included with the same $7 monthly membership—alongside the recipe vault, idea generator, and recipe tools.
