Each dinner includes the entrée and sides listed on the monthly menu and serves four. Three dinners means three household meals with four portions each, not twelve different recipes.
What is included?
Standard packages include preparation in your kitchen, family-style packing, labels, cooking or reheating directions, and kitchen cleanup. Choosing different available dishes from the BiteTalk menu does not add a custom-menu planning fee.
For ready-to-cook meals, Scott chops, measures, portions and assembles the ingredients for you to finish cooking. Fully cooked dinners are cooked in your kitchen and packed for you to reheat. Compare the two preparation styles.
A complete example with the costs separated.
Three fully cooked dinners plus grocery shopping: $350 service fee. That is the $300 three-dinner package plus $50 for shopping. You receive twelve portions in total. Ingredient purchases are added at their actual cost; container materials, applicable tax and any separately agreed extras are also additional.
For an illustrative grocery bill of $90, that example would be $440 before container materials, applicable tax or any other quoted extras. The $90 is a budgeting example, not a fixed grocery price or an all-inclusive offer. Actual ingredient cost depends on the dishes, portions, brands and availability.
Which extras can change the total?
- Grocery shopping: $50 for one local store and up to 30 minutes. Ingredients remain additional.
- An extra dinner serving four: $60 ready to cook or $75 fully cooked. Scott confirms the longer visit.
- Individual packing: $25 for up to twelve portions, with container materials additional. Larger quantities require a quote; suitable client containers may be used.
- A new custom menu or recipe adaptation: planning starts at $50, including up to 30 minutes. Changing selections within the existing menu does not require this fee. Separate dietary batches, additional planning or complex preparation need review.
Organic or premium ingredients are billed at their actual cost. Special sourcing, travel outside the normal area and any additional work are quoted before booking. Suitable existing menu selections and simple omissions are included; discuss allergies before the plan is agreed.
Can I book a single visit?
The meal-prep chooser does not require a subscription. Recurring weekly visits are available by arrangement, with the dishes and scope confirmed for each visit. A $50 reservation is credited toward the service balance; Scott confirms the plan before the payment request.
Is BiteTalk available near me?
In-home meal prep serves Elk River, Otsego, Rogers, Dayton, Ramsey, Saint Michael and Albertville, Minnesota. Scott confirms availability and travel for your address. This is a personal chef visit in your kitchen; the package is not a shipped meal-kit or pickup-meal offer.
